This Job Board is not for signing out of workbooks. If you would like to be placed in the out of work book, and you are a 70 member NOT CURRENTLY WORKING IN 70 TERRITORY, please email your request to office@ibew70.us or CLICK HERE and fill out the form. If you are a member of another IBEW local and would like an opportunity to work in 70 territories, please have your hall email us a letter of introduction, or you can email office@ibew70.us your current dues receipt, CDL if you have one, and make sure your phone number is there. **** RESIGNS are between the 10-16th of each month. Please email us and let us know that you would like to resign your name on the books. If you do not resign, then your name will drop off the list. Bidding is open, however, for now we are still calling from the order you are on the books. You may only bid on jobs if you are not currently working.
Tips To Remember For Traveling IBEW Members a. That Local Union will be your Representation while you are in that jurisdiction. b. You can be brought up on charges and fined by the Local Union by violating the Referral / Portability Policy if you do not check in properly. c. It is your responsibility to check In: NOT THE CONTRACTORS. 2. Always carry a current (paid up) dues receipt with you. 3. Make sure that your Electrical Reciprocal Transfer System (ERTS) Blanket authorization is correct with your Home Local before you travel to another IBEW Local Unions jurisdiction via portability or referral so that your Benefits will be properly reciprocated back to your Home Local Union's Funds. 4. If you are traveling to sign the out of work list of another Local Union, check with the Local Union to see if they require a travel letter from your home Local Union. 5. Respect the terms and conditions of the Local Union's agreement where you are employed. 6. Remember, you are a guest and should therefore represent your Local Union accordingly. 7. NEVER get involved in the politics of another Local Union. 8. Once you take a call, remove your name from all other Local Union's Out of Work Lists you are signed with except your home Local Union. 9. Remember, you are a professional, always conduct yourself like a Code of Excellence IBEW proud member. 10. Never leave a Local Union's jurisdiction without ensuring that all indebtedness is paid. 11. Notify the Local Union when you leave its jurisdiction when you are working under portability.
